Nilan Johnson Lewis is a law firm steeped in a commitment to innovation. As a “new breed” law firm, the partners wanted to develop a brand strategy that allowed them to get credit in the marketplace and create alignment with incoming partners and associates.

Brand Tool Box developed an articulate brand strategy that captured the young firm’s unique energy and deep commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace. A key part of this process was engaging all of the firm’s employees, lawyers and staff with our Internal Brand Building training, to highlight the importance of projecting the firm’s brand in all communications and situations.

With a solid strategy in place, we worked closely with a corporate identity firm to develop a fresh look that visually demonstrated the firm’s new strategy, as well as a marketing communications plan that utilized a fresh mix of media venues. The firm’s stature and reputation as the “new breed of law” has clearly been enhanced.

We implemented our internal brand-building workshops with the firm’s employees and associates, resulting in an energized and engaged culture around what it takes to deliver on the promise of being a “new breed” law firm.
